So the last two weekends we wound up spending out downtime at this awesome Truck stop. This is a truck stop we had never visited before, but we had heard from several other drivers what a great place it was. So of course we had to check it out. This Portland based truck stop is 27 acres big and sees around 1500 trucks on a daily basis. Not only does this travel center feature 9 fuel islands but also 300 truck parking spaces. Including long term trailer and truck parking that is available for $18 a day.

Showers some with jacuzzi’s the cost of shower is $15 or $25 for a couple, if you purchase 75 gallons o fuel your shower is FREE.
Drivers Lounge this is located in the building by the fuel islands. This features a big screen TV with cable and large leather chairs. And this is on the upper floor.
FREE Wi-Fi YES You heard me right this is rare in our industry but on the entire complex and parking lot they offer FREE guest Wi-Fi.
Two Connivence Stores, there is a larger one inside the main building and a smaller one with quick grab and go meal options, roller grill items, drinks, supplies and more.
Mail and Fax and Postal services M-F from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-2.
24-Hour Scale but as of this posting they were having some issues. You have to go inside and give them your truck and company info before your weigh. Then go back in to pay and get your weigh ticket.
Blue Beacon Truck wash is open in the back parking lot. The only thing is this is a ONE bay wash so the line does tend to be quite long. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Several restaurants to choose from, the most popular is The Cascade which is a very nice diner atmosphere that is open very late, and features a variety of food options and they serve breakfast 24-7. Inside the main building and located next to the Marketplace Connivence store is the Moe’s Deli that features both hot and cold sandwiches, cookies, chips, drinks and more. Also in the main building is the Ponderosa Grill and bar which is open until 2 am everyday. This features a area with slot machines, pool tables, a large bar, dance floor area and plenty of tables for dining. It also features a VIP lounge with it’s own bar for the weekends when they have LIVE Country music. The last food option is the fuel island building there is a deli called the Jake Break Deli featuring hamburgers, sandwiches and more.
Laundry is located in the main building you can choose to do self serve laundry or drop off your laundry for a full service which starts are $7.50 for up to 5 lbs of laundry.
If you need a break from your truck they also feature a hotel called the Portlander Inn featuring beautiful and affordable hotel to escape for a few days.
Truck museum they have a small two truck museum with lots of plaques with the history of this truck stop located outside of the Cascade Grill. Also next to this is a large table chair and a few puzzles if you want some game time.
In the main building you will find a 50 seat Cinema where you can catch a movie three times a day, full with popcorn and drink for $15 per person.
A barber shop is also located in the main building by the Cinema, along with a professional massage parlor.
Clean Fleet is also located in the main building featuring a facility that offers certified medical examiners to do on site collections for DOT drug and alcohol testing.
