Friends Who Become Family

Yesterday I had the honor of getting to see my bestie Jessica. There are those friends that come into your life unexpected, when you are at your worst. Those people find a way to find the best in you, lift you up and become family. That is who Jessica is to me. We had been online friends for awhile, but when I was at my lowest spot, she stepped in and became family.

Jessica was picking up a delivery a half hour away from my house, and we just happened to be home. So of course I had to go see my bestie, and stop off at Starbucks on the way to get us some caffeine. For those of you who may not be familiar with my bestie she goes by Hurricane Bunny. You can follow her at TikTok at her page here and also on her personal Facebook page here.

Jessica is a single Owner Operator truck driver also a runner up winner for the REAL Women in Trucking Queen of the Roads awards winner. Jessica is one of the most kind hearted, and no bullshit type of person. When Larry and I went through a bad period when we online bullies putting us through hell. Jessica stepped in and showed us through her actions and her thoughtfulness that she wanted nothing from me but my friendship.

One of the hardest thing for me to do is to OPEN up and trust anyone. And she wormed her way into my heart and become my best friend. Every time we get an opportunity to see each other out on the road we take it. Why am I sharing all of this with you? Because I hope everyone can have as good of a friend as Jessica in their lives.

Yesterday I finally got to meet her “Twins” brother and sister Azula and Ruckus. Her furry kids that are HUGE. Tell you what it makes me feel so much better that she drives alone with these two babies, no one in their right mind is going to mess with her. When she has two massive pitbulls, which by the way fell in love with me. Didn’t hurt that I brought them toys and bones to bribe them with,

Though we only had a few hours to spend we made the most of it catching up, grabbing lunch and getting supplies for our trucks. If you haven’t had a chance be sure to follow my bestie Jessica on her pages and get to know her!
